[Solved] OpenAL - BadImageFormatException

Got this error when I clicked the "create sim" tick button in the CAS screen. This isn't game-breaking (it can be left in the background).
I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 if that matters at all.

That's weird. When I opened a lot (empty_lot.xml), it displayed this and crashed the game:

Using FSO.IDE.exe if that makes any difference.

Okay, turns out I'm a fucking idiot and forgot to install OpenAL. For anyone else with this error, download and run the Windows installer from https://www.openal.org/downloads/.

Seeing as you've one of the few activate people I know who've been here the longest (counting your first account), I was quite shocked you were the OP of this thread. In fairness, we all forget every now and then.

Indeed, but it was probably due to the fact that it was only a couple of days after I'd reset my PC (and I totally forgot I hadn't got OpenAL!) - some things we just take for granted, I guess.
