Sound Settings

I'm sure this is a known thing to fix, but, did want to bring attention to sound settings not working.

I prefer to have music off or adjust the volume, and that's not possible yet in game.

Yes, but the volume in Windows is EVERY sound, vs the fine-tune settings of the game. I want to be able to mute the game's music and nothing else.

do it like this through the volume mixer. you'll be able to tune the sound for each program you're running as well as the general system sounds.

Okay, let me try to be extra clear.
The game has several sound settings: ambience, sims voices, general sound effects, and the music.

Currently, the options to adjust the volumes of these various sounds individually does not work. The volume controls of Windows can only turn volume up or down for the entire application, not just the music. (That's my understanding anyway. ) The music currently plays at full volume and that's way too loud in my opinion and there's no way it can be adjusted. Using Windows Volume, every sound in the game would be muted and that's not what I'm trying to do.

I am bringing this to the attention of you guys so it can be fixed eventually.
Any time I bring up an issue it is because I see it as important. I don't just mention things for the fun of it. I am not saying "fix this right this second" I'm just asking that it be looked at eventually. @RHY3756547

While it certainly isn't possible for you to know of every issue that they are already aware of, something as obvious as the sound settings is absolutely something that you can assume they know about already. But if you prefer to list things as you come across them rather than assume (and risk being wrong in that assumption) then the minor bug thread ( http://forum.freeso.org/threads/minor-bug-thread.960/ ) is actually the correct place to list things for future consideration.
