So... I was just about to go to bed and decided to listen to some music before falling asleep. Opened my music app, jumped right into the "For you" section,
where I got something very interesting suggested...
(Let's just say I have a few albums full of game soundtracks on my phone, okay?!)

Sometimes I just keep forgetting that, while the Sims, SimCity and probably even Spore are the most iconic Maxis games, there were so many others: SimEarth, SimAnt, SimLife, SimFarm, SimTower, SimIsle, SimTown, SimCopter, SimPark, SimTunes, SimSafari, Streets of SimCity, A-Train, Marble Drop, SimCoaster, etc. etc.
I played so many of those little Sim games back in the day and had a lot of fun with those. Especially Streets of SimCity! (Always loved to crash cars!
)
Listening to the soundtrack really brought back a lot of memories and it's so cool to see/hear that Maxis used a lot of their old soundtracks in a refined or remixed version in their newer games. Some songs from Streets of SimCity are used in the Sims 1 and The Sims Bustin' Out GBA.
(The whole action tv station from the Sims 1 seems to be just a Streets of SimCity playlist)
Here's an iTunes link if you want to check them out:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/streets-sim-city-original/id218457436
Do you remember some of the lesser-known Maxis games? Or do you even played some of them? Would be interesting to know, I'll even let the pinball game on
Windows XP count (Yes that was developed by Maxis)
