Updated using launcher and now missing need titles

So i updated the game through the new launcher and have noticed that when entered the game my need titiles are missing.
I'm not sure how i will fix this or if there is a way to fix this, any help much appreciated

The launcher doesn't update the game. Try changing your language in the settings.

oh right ok, and is there a way to change my sims clothes or is it just paying for them ?

You need to buy them from shops around the city. Costume trunks give you outfits for free but they don't go to your wardrobe, so you will lose them if you shower, sleep etc.

I went onto the launcher and changed the language and it did nothing to the need titles, is there anything else i can try?
