Exactly has people have said before, I can finally get into Simantics without a crash now except it won' let me move the camera over to see the actually buildings and interactive objects and such so it's nothing like in the youtube video someone posted. I guess cus that user was running a 64 bit system while mines still a 32(x86) bit system?, but on the bright side changing the IP from 127.0.0.1 to 173.248.136.133 in the Client.exe.config like you said worked for letting me login again! ;)

I can get into simantics with the same issues, can't scroll to the sim, plus I get to 75% when trying to login and TSO Client stops working. I did change the ip address.

I changed ip and I was able to login. and It didn't crash when I selected city where I wanted to live so I got recreated my sim. :)

I just realized that I can login to an account I made a few months ago as a test, my original account had 3 sims created so I retired one when Afro implemented that function... but I have not been able to login to that account since then so I don't know if the sim is gone. But I tried the second account and got in with no problem. I guess what I'm trying to ask is ... could the retire sim function be crashing my first account but not the second?

To scroll, move your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen.

RainCloud: There's no such thing as "crashing an account". People have reported being able to not get into their old accounts before, and I've no idea why. :|
Thing is, code is still somewhat unstable, and the more it grows, the longer it takes for me to test and proof every piece of functionality. :(
When the patcher started crashing, I literally recompiled it, and it seemed to work again. I didn't change a line of code.

Right now I'm still sorta trying to figure out why creating an account seems to crash the login server. But liinor seems to have created a sim now, so maybe that bug was finally fixed! :D

ok I get that but ... I wonder why I can't login to an account I was using a few days ago , but I can login to the one I haven't used for a month
Sorry for the dumb questions, hopefully it will eventually work. AND thank you for all the work you do! :p

Just pushed another update which should at least hopefully stop the patcher from crashing.
This also fixes a crashing bug in the CAS, though it is not clear if it'll stop the login server from crashing.
Those of you who's patcher started crashing, redownload and run the bootstrapper again.

It worked :D Thank you, thank you!
But... Simantics gets frozen :( But I am guessing because the server is not up? :)

No, has far as I know Simantics Debug mode doesn't require a login therefore it's like a offline play test function that doesn't require the server to be up. However people like me are still having issues with getting the actual lot objects and camera scrolling working that make it possible to actually see and interact with the Lot's objects and such like what one user got working in this video

I made this video before patching. So I can't scroll screen either.

I know scrolling worked so in earlier version but in this version even that doesn't scroll screen.

How weird. The latest version contains the latest pushes to the master branch by Rhys, so something he did must have fucked up scrolling for you guys. Haven't tested it myself.

I just realized: Try deleting your CharacterCache folder in the TSOClient folder. If that doesn't work, try deleting CharacterCache in the Project Dollhouse folder in My Documents. If there's no folder there, that might explain a few things.

No, nothing I did fucked up scrolling for anyone. I have not changed that code in a long time.

What is likely happening is that the game is getting somehow stuck trying to catch up with updates forever.
