What I'm going to be doing for the rest of the year

For the rest of 2015 I will be contributing to the project more than I have ever done, with a launcher and a dynamic server list merged into one with a new UI, which will hopefully be released on Monday (when the appropriate hardware arrives). This means that I have another 2 days to refine the UI, which is going to be a clean, sleek UI and will have some elements of TSO - such as the colouring - as well, giving us a great mix between modern and classic UI specifications. I'm going to also be working a lot more on Intelligence for the rest of the year, and I'm going to be making my own custom Marshmallow ROM. I tried this earlier last year, managing to port the L preview ROM to an unsupported, legacy Xperia device - although, it was buggy, as WiFi and Bluetooth were very temperamental, so I decided not to release it.
Here's a roadmap with ETAs of what I'm going to be doing:
  • Intelligence - ETA 6 months until first public alpha
  • Android ROM - ETA 2 weeks until first public release
  • Launcher - ETA 2 days until first public release
  • (TS2O - ETA 2 months until first public release shh)
Here's a screenshot of the server list for all you folks wondering what it might look like:

I'm excited for the Server List :3 Its Live right?
It's dynamic if that's what you mean. I'm going to retrieve and ping using my own server and then use the server list client to get an exact ping latency, but this will differ from when it's actually connected.

I meant its constantly updating for when a server goes up or not?

Also i take it that you can Add IP's for servers if you were to request? Also add my server (If theres a starter list of IPs to watch their status?)

All of the non-Evolve servers that are on my static server list will be included, but IPs can be added client-side - as well as a favourites list in case the server list becomes overcrowded. I'll update the list to include your server if it's not already there when I get the chance.
There will be a refresh button and setting for auto-refreshing and intervals.

Those IP's aren't evolve. I portforwarded,so i don't need to use evolve to host, only to join if others need to use.

A sentence that always scared the living crap out of me... because whenever someone says this, the result looks horrendous!
There is a reason why technology/software moved from a "classic" UI to a modern one.

BUT... I wish you the best of look with your projects, great way to spend the rest of the year! :D

I only meant small things, such as colour palettes. I've been working on UI for a long time now so it should look OK, and nothing should clash.

Thanks, hope you have a nice year too :)
