When will the servers be online?

I'm assuming that when you try to login and it stops at 25 percent it means that the servers are not online. At least that's what the FAQ in the releases section says. The FAQ in the releases section says that the login server is down if it only goes to 25 percent.

Now there is also something else that I don't understand. Is the game at all playable? Are there features like skills and money items? Or is it really far away from that and in a stage of development?

Hanging @ 25% here too. Skills and money are not working yet. Think they are trying to get the chat system up and running. You can create a sim and enter a demo lot. You can interact with a few objects. Lots of bugs to work out, but heading in the right direction.
