You can try completely reinstalling just "FreeSO."

Screenshot the error message and post it here, if you can.

Verify you have the proper permissions for the directory. Try doing it in admin mode, or you can delete the entire freeso folder manually; and then reinstall it fresh.

I think the computer screen breaking is a bug/glitch, repair and repair man are currently not implemented.

Make sure the ground is flat and level before you try building.

Try program files.

Try reinstalling FreeSO.

Try running the game as admin.

You can also try turning down all of your visual settings when you do the roof art, and can raise them after.

Most likely it's a Memory error. It's your V-Ram running out. You can try increasing your page file in system settings, try a memory optimization tool, or install more RAM to your computer.
