Account Login will only happen when Global Server is released. And by then private sandbox servers will be unnecessary and most likely won't have this feature.

So will we have to make an account or use our forum accounts
Account creation has not been made yet as the Global Server still has bugs to be fixed and a lot of stuff still (I believe) needs to be implemented before the Global Server is ready to be tested.

Could you tell my why the global server is so big is it because the whole city is going to be global or is it going to be a small global server

The global server is big because it maintains additional servers, the cities, that maintain each lot.

The city will be completely connected - it will host all lots and allow people to keep their motives/skills/appearance/etc between lot visits, facilitating the monetary/social/status progression that made The Sims Online what it was. It will also allow private messaging, and more "globally connected" features.

Question out of curiosity, will FreeSO be one City? (like Sims 1) or will there be multiple cities like TSO was? :D

Can't wait till global servers are released, just curious is there any plans to develop the game more as in adding situations like jobs etc for sims so you actually go to work etc to earn money other than the pizza station etc? is that against policy because it's originally maxis game? Just wondering with the power you have and changes you've implemented like smooth zoom etc would you be able to develop the game more in general? Still can't wait for global server so can finally build a lot and link to other peoples lots which is how TSO was played back in the day.

Ohhh wow nice, what plans are in order once the global server goes live? what content can we look forward to in the future?

I also don't think that there is any organized/formal plan to add specific custom content. The only real 'definites' mentioned about custom content has been that it will be allowed and it will be regulated - it needs to be approved and approval will be based very much on quality and correct Z buffers. The developers may be leaving the organizing of themes and etc. for object makers to figure out while they focus on any new game features.

I have started contacting a few Sims creators to find out if they object to our using their graphics as bases here in FreeSO (Or, to be more specific, if their TS1 policies extend to FreeSO) in preparation for the day Volcanic's "clone" button works for us :D

Immediately I'm going to start developing more Online Jobs and some new objects (obviously starting with volcanic evaluation objects and founders). Manual custom content submissions will be open for very good, functionally unique objects to be introduced directly into the catalog, basically immediately. Non-Catalog submissions like simple recolours, user tradable will be possible when the infrastructure is present. (moderation, distribution, recolours without BHAV duplication)

What about the lots we built? Our roommates and basically our skills and money? Will we lose them when the global server is going to get released?
