It's not that hard to do as it is. Just download the files, and extract them to the proper folder.

WinRar makes it much simpler.

Can you tell me how to do that step by step i redownloaded the file and deleted the other one and i tried doing that my self but i didn't work. Please and thank you.

If you have a newer computer, you should be opening the .exe "As administrator"
If you installed it correctly, you SHOULD have the "tso.client" application in your folder. If it's not there you will need to reinstall from the start.
These Installation steps seems to have helped a lot of people so far, I hope they will help you too
..
1. First of all, you need to download original TSO from:

http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/misc/tso/

2. Once downloaded, install it on your hard drive and try to run from:

(install directory)/TSOClient/TSOClient.exe
If works, continue with instructions below.

3. Download PD Installer from: https://github.com/Afr0/Project-Dollhouse/releases/download/0.2/PDInstaller.exe
And install to your The Sims Online directory (default, should be detected)
Agree to install all applications.

Some of them may bug out during installation (like Bass.NET with MS HELP 2.x runtime error). You can download them manually:

4. Download and install OpenAL from: http://openal.en.lo4d.com/

5. Run PDPatcher.exe (Project Dollhouse icon on desktop OR (install directory)/TSOClient/PDPatcher.exe) and let it update.

After updating, the game will start and it should crash (at least on my PC)

6. Move TSO.World.dll from (install directory)/TSOClient/TSO.World.dll to your desktop.

7. Do the same steps as in step 5. It should run and show at least The Sims Online logo (may crash).

8. Go to http://52.18.99.73/login.html and Log in as guest. DON’T CLICK ANYTHING FOR NOW.

Choose the newest build (look at the #number) and now CLICK (on your right) Artifacts (hover over the tiny arrow) and download the .zip file (for example dist-60.zip [may be different number]).

9. Unpack .zip file to the folder (OTHER THAN TSO FOLDER), for example on your desktop. From there you should run tso.client.exe

**This is the file you should open your game with each time you want to play.

If it starts, you should see log in menu, just click Simantics & Lot Debug button on your upper left... and you’re ready to go.

**So, when the new build is released, you need to do the same steps as in 8 and 9**

Version with changes mentioned is now up, also fixes going to chairs on the wrong floor when reading books, object animations (toy rocket) and food cleanup (fixes waiter job).

Remember that if you're going to test this with other people they NEED to have the same version or they will easily desync (we saw this today in blayers lot). I'll be making a shallow test to inform the user of this and d/c but right now this does not exist.
