Chat for PD?

The forums are good, but how a chat? It would be a pretty cool feature to add to Project Dollhouse.
Maybe an irc, shoutbox, or even an xat chat?
Also if you do plan to make a chat, I can always help moderate if needed. Just a suggestion.

Moderate what? There is already enough moderator and more forum is not "very" really active... Something : you are registered since Saturday(4 days) and so you are not a very active member.

You're very welcome to host an IRC channel if you wish.
Until then, chat will happen in-game when I implement it.

I can do an XAT chat, and I'll put it on a free website (that has a subdomain).

Anybody interested in helping me moderate this chat?

Please, I would even prefer IRC over XAT.
I personally use Palringo a lot to talk to my friends in a group chat, though it is kinda shoddy by today's standards it is entirely free and provides an easy mechanism to send pictures to groups of people. (copy and paste!)

IRC must be hosted, I cannot and will not buy a host, and it's not possible to run it from my pc.
Palringo is just a mess now, from my point of view. It also requires installing. (phone and pc)
I understand that XAT is poor anyways, I understand why one wouldn't like it. I'll search up a chat software I can set up.

As says everyone with past experience with my particular group, baseless as that opinion actually is. Concerning XAT, it's not that "one" might not like it, it's that using it completely undermines any respectable image that we could hold as the users of XAT usually consist of children and adolescents.

If IRC is cool with everyone, we will be able to host it on the same servers we host the website and game servers.

Perhaps you can have a poll or something for an IRC. If it ever works out, I can help out with it.
