Custom Music

Though I am aware custom music is already implemented into the game, it's no fun when you're the only person who could hear it and there's really no point. I think custom music playing on a player's lot should also be shared to those on the lot. I think it would be a cool idea.

Personally I'd love to be able to listen to the old Sims 2 radio stations in game. I don't know if it's possible but you can dream right?

I think that would require a lot more stuff you'd have to download.

Say for example someone adds custom music to their radio which plays on their lot. EVERYONE would need to have that music file in their game files otherwise the music can't be heard. Which means people would need to download MORE game files just for one lot, and that's ridiculous...

And you can already add custom music anyway, just replace the audio from TSO with music that you prefer.

Not really. If it will be implemented it will be based on streaming I'd imagine. I've seen it done in mods for other games. Just need some back-end capability for streaming links and that way the radio station's that used to dominate TSO on shoutcast are incentivized to come back.

I'd love that. I wanna DJ in the game. Back when TSO was, there were a few DJs. If there was a way back then, I'm sure it'll be only a matter of time. but until then... sigh. ​
