Error log after trying to join my own server.

Hello I'm EternallyAries.
So I've been working on trying to host my own private server for testing with my good old buddies online. So far everything went smooth as butter till I tried joining my server in the game. Here an image of everything including the log. Maybe there might be a mistake somewhere I'm not realizing.

I also installed The Sims Online into the default directory along with the rest of the latest Free Sims Online zip files and packingslips files.

And I also restarted the server to see if that would fix the issue as well. But still impossible to join.

I can play in the empty_Lot.XML and the rest of the lots with no problems. But connecting to my own server always leads me to that error log.
Oddly enough, when I input my IP from here https://www.whatismyip.com/ It gives me a 0% loading wait for ages. I also tried connecting just by typing my server name called eternallyserver.no-ip.org with the same 0% loading issue. It was till I typed my main IPv4 Address into the search box that it gave me that error log. So besides that, I have no idea what the issue is. Hopefully someone here can offer some assistants for me.

Yeah, FreeSO has a lot of trouble with local hosting.....I couldn't connect to my own server either, maybe it's a game problem?

From what I experience so far, It might be the game problem. I might have to wait till a more stable version is release till I can connect.

But if anyone here got any ideas for what I could possibly due. I'd be very welcome to try it out.

Thanks in advance.

Did you use the guide I created? It's verified to work 99/100 times.

You can't connect to any ipv6 addresses. In windows 10, localhost resolves to an ipv6 address.

127.0.0.1 should resolve to ipv4 localhost, but apparently it doesn't for people who aren't me. If you're failing to connect to yourself with an external address (0%) either your port forward is not working or you're getting blocked behind a firewall. Try to connect to your IP on your local network, should be IPv4 and shouldnt have ports blocked.

7 too, since I get the exact same error connecting to localhost.

Turns out, I made a mistake by not going into a lot first before joining the server. So far entering my server name or server IP from https://www.whatismyip.com/ will now load instantly. Though one issue still stands, apparently everything is frozen. Can't build nor I can add any furniture. Once I click live mode or click outside the window, I get this error message instantly.

I checked my firewall and portforward numbers. And everything checks out okay. I turned off IPv6 a while back when I first got the router. So I'm not on that at all. But at least it now loads the server, but locks up instantly once I'm in game.

If you connect to yourself, aka, the very same game client you're running, you'll join a server that stops running ticks, and you won't have a sim to interact with things. Either join with another client or just play on the client you're hosting from.

Ah, I see then. Well I'll see if my buddies can join my server and see if we can play with what we can on the latest version. Till then, thank you everyone for your help! I'll repost here if I have anymore problems in the near future.

Thanks you.
