FINAL ROUND!
The votes from the last round were pretty much a straight dead heat between Test Center and Blazing Falls, at 30-35. 30 of you voted another city though, so it's only fair to get to choose which of two most popular cities you prefer, as you're going to be playing in it for a long time.
TEST CENTER
BLAZING FALLS
REDESIGNS
To better fit the game and build more of a town dynamic, the chosen city will recieve a large makeover, including bridges, terrain changes, and a whole lot of roads. I've created variations of these for both cities - please take a look:
TEST CENTER (NEW LAYOUT DRAFT)
Since we're getting quite close to the MMO server being ready, it's about time to choose the first city which we'll be living in on the main server. This city will likely NOT be wiped as we transition into the stable period, assuming that the economy doesn't somehow completely break down in some way due to a bug or exploit.
Choose wisely, this decision has a lot of weight! Personally, I think the cities with the most verticality and most detail are the most interesting (sharp mountains!), but it's up to you guys to decide.
The chosen city will be modified to add roads, interesting features and maybe even change up the terrain a little.
Rounds:
Voting for this round will close on the 1st November, 02:00 BST.

TEST CENTER (NEW LAYOUT DRAFT)
- Small town-like regions added throughout map.
- Flat land made more interesting by more defined terrain.
- Ridges added to both sea cuts, as well as a beach extension. Done for more buildable land.
- Flattening of area of mountain. More defined peak. Mountain lake with snow type islands. Two snow towns, one around lake and one off center.
- Large city areas denoted by yellow skyscrapers.
- I got bored and didn't road out the right side of the centre piece, but you get the idea from the left.
- LOOKING FOR MORE IMPROVEMENT IDEAS. NOT AS BAD AS BF.
- Added actual waterfalls. To blazing falls. You're welcome.
- Added strangetown x4, because the random desert cant be interesting any other way
- Some bridges between islands
- Need some more ideas because I still think this looks terrible and the sheer space of this map actually causes the problem of it being impossible to place roads and have them look nice.
- NEED IDEAS! I don't like this city myself so I don't see what other people think is "good" about it.
- How the city looks in general, at all times.
- Room in the city for interesting road/neighbourhood patterns. This includes loosely connected islands - bridges are possible!
- Buildable area. Too much steep land could limit buildable area.
- Room for improvement, or interesting reshaping of the landscape. An example would be adding a road and space for a roaded town on a cliff side.
- And of course, blind nostalgia. (i'm looking at you, blazing falls)
