FSO Translations

And the projects you haven't finished or cancelled were also just as big in the announcements as mine were and both occurred on this very forum. Ironically, your FreeSO launcher project was cancelled because of the one I made in response to your design choices. It's I finished, released, and maintained. You may be a better programmer then me but you've had just as many failed projects as I have here, public or not.

End of discussion.

I've started the translation to Italian.

but every accent is transformed into a "*" when in-game. probably because the english language doesn't have accent which exists in the italian language.
btw, you can consider me as a contributor ;)
where are all located all the actions?
because many files on that directory refers to stuff only possible in The Sims 1 (probably because of the engine)
like "Move family" or "This object can be only used by kids".
Hai finito questa traduzione? Translate finished?

I had previously started translating into Bulgarian for afr0games. I would like to keep doing it for FREESO. I see that Cyrillic isn't available yet, but I hope that just like accents it too would be made available in the future.

Are Japanese characters (kanji, hirgana and katakana) supported?

I can make a Japanese version if needed

Hey I see there's a terribly old German translation I can pick up. It's only my second language but it's far easier to edit than translate if a native speaker wishes to improve it later.

At the very least I know loöschenn is meant as löschen.

Now just to figure out Github...

Just wanted to ask if there was anyone who was doing a German version! I've never done this before, but if you need help with German I'd love to help you out :)

Will there be support for the following punctuation... » quote « and/or „quote“? Yes this is because German. Also please do not forget the ß.

There should be support for everything in the future, but right now with the spritefont system it might appear as *. You should use the character anyways and report any that look like *.

Not yet. You can always build your own sprite fonts for these character sets for now.
