how do you download the client

So i was hoping to download the client tonight so i'm ready to go for tomorrow but it wont download, am i doing something wrong or do i have to wait for tomorrow?
 
tried rebooting, that didnt work. I keep getting an error when i try to open the installer. anyone else having the same issue?
 
sorry i dont know how to add the screeenshot but it pretty much just tells me that it has stopped working and then searches for a solution but doesn't find anything
 
so after clicking the FSO Installer utility x86 edition.exe i get a box that is titled FreeSo Complete setup and the message reads FreeSo complete setup has stopped working. "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." and thats all i get
 
ok so i tried downloading visual c 2010 but now i'm getting a message that saying that this computer does not meet the requirment to install this software. the following blocking issues must be resolved before you can install microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable setup software package.
then it says please resolve the following "a newer version of microsoft visual c++ 2010 redstributable has been detected on the machine"

i am running windows 7 on a pretty old laptop

it looks like i already have this installed along with a 2013 version, does that make any sense?

Okay, are you sure you have version GSInstaller-1-5-17b
And you extracted all the files before you clicked on Official FSO Installer Utility x86 Edition
 
yup i have tried deleting it and re downloading the zip file but still the same message. maybe it is not ment to be for me :(
 
right but after you download the zip, you have to extract all files before double clicking on any. were you able to do that? I have your next step if so
