Actually... just converting or "taking" the stuff from TSO to TS1 is not a great idea, and surely not the best idea.
Yes there were a lot of great objects and features in TSO that some may miss in TS1 (me included), but the majority of the "stuff" that made TSO so great was, gameplay-wise, designed for more than just one single player (obviously)...

Even if you have the objects from TSO all converted and available in TS1, it's nothing like TSO!
TSO lived from the multiplayer aspect, the things you could do with friends/strangers, the difference from TS1 is what made TSO TSO, not the objects.
Heck if that would've been the case, I'm 99.99% sure that EA would've made another expansion pack for TS1 with just the TSO objects and stuff in it.

Let face it... Yes EA shut TSO down but TSO lived from 2002 until 2008, that is 6 years for a game that was only really localized in one single language (english), only really ("aggressively") marketed in the US and that was a always online multiplayer game in a time where multiplayer games were pretty rare, let alone games that used any online aspects.
Not only are there a lot of people that want TSO back because they played it back in the day, there are so much more new sims fans and players today than ever before! And a ton of them not only want a new Online Sims game from EA, on almost every forum you read conversations where people want the original TSO to be brought back, just so they get a chance to play it.

I'm not saying that FreeSO will attract millions of players but there are a lot of people that might not be actively participating on the forum or the play tests, but are eagerly awaiting the launch of the first real 24/7 server so they can check out and play this game.
And even if you should be right and FreeSO will be a game with just 50+- users (which I highly doubt!), I for one would still be much happier playing FreeSO with 50 people instead of playing TS1 alone...

Lastly I just want to say, whether you're here because you want TSO back, you just want the TSO Stuff or you're a modder/programmer/sims fan/etc. that is just interested in how this game functions/behaves, let's all just be thankful for everything Rhys, Darren, and everyone else involved in this project have done so far and for the knowledge, stuff and nostalgia we all gained and got back from this journey so far. :)

but TSO have successor,i think it just is The Sims Free Play

Gotta be honest, I play The Sims Free Play sometimes but a) it's not a good game because it makes use of the Facebook concept of "either pay or wait for progress" and b) it's not a real online sims game, you can't meet your friends and play with them in real time or anything and it's is and always will be just a mobile port of TS3...

FreePlay isn't even multiplayer, neither was Social.
If I remember correctly both FreePlay and Social only allowed you to visit your friends lot (Social) or city (FreePlay) and you had a limited amount of actions you could do per day, right?!

Actually I liked the cartoonish Sims Social way more because it didn't tried to be a mobile/online port of a Sims game, unlike FreePlay which tries to be "The Sims 3 On the Go" and fails so badly...

Basically. I'm assuming all Sims are NPCs like they were in Social.

I agree. It's the only thing I give Social credit for.
