I have installed the game and logged on.
when I join a property it's only the work properties and it's all NPC'S.

Have I installed it correctly?
Will we have to install more for the upcoming alpha testing? I know the game is currently offline, just wondering if this is how it is for everyone

You're probably clicking on one of the premade lots. (empty_lot.xml, robotfactory.xml... and so on).
If you click on the eye icon you can type a server name and click on the star to go to it (you will see by default freeso.ml).

This won't be the case however once the open beta is released. There will be only one city server and you will be able to choose your lot from city view.
I imagine it will be released as a regular update.
