Kon Tiki, bugfix(es)

I accidently registered account with no nickname I just wanted to test if it would give me any warning message about it so if server is gonna have some trouble with loading account file stuff correctly it may be caused of that account file i quess.

i downloaded and exchanged the new gonzonet. Logged in with my account without problems. there was no sim, so I created one. went to cityview. the exit game button doesnt work, so i x-ed the game out.
Now i have the same client has stopped working problem again.
 
I tried logging in with my previous sim ... it almost got to 100% then I got error: tso client has stopped working

I logged in with a new account and made a new sim but when I hit the save button, it went as if it was entering city view but hung up at 25%

I did replace the gonzonet.
 
Replaced the gonzonet.dll got an EA.com popup error - I would tell you the message but it disappeared so darn quick LOL
So... I deleted the CharacterCache folder hoping it would help. Ran the game again, logged in, got my sim, but when clicking for the city view - the darn popup error came up again
 
ok I deleted the character cache as Tori did
and I got into my previous sim but entering city I got same error as Tori,

I think it said ea is unavailable.
 
Yeah I get the EA.com popup as well - it just means that something happened when logging in your sim, and the server couldn't proceed.
I will look into the issue today. None of the servers have crashed so far though, and they've been running for a couple days now! :D

My sim ist there but if i click to go to the city it just happens nothing. I stay at the screen where you can pick a sim.
seems the city button is not working for me.
I dont get any popup.

PS: I just figured, if i click on the sim instead the city i get the same popup
 
Fixed city login!
New executable can be downloaded here or you can get the new installer from Github.

This is probably the last bugfix I'm going to be doing for a while, unless something comes up that requires my immediate attention.
Next thing I'll be working on is a proper patching system, so people won't have to download updates manually anymore.
 
I installed all the latest updates of Projet but when I tried to connect I get this message :
Network error
EA.com is temporarily unavailable. This
may be due to routine server
maintenance or other network issues.
Please try again later.
 
Yes, thank you!, I can login to the city with my sim again now, but when I do I see the UI and my sim but its just a black screen the city never render's like it did before. Plus the framerate still drops a bit, nice work anyways. :|

Where is this character cache folder? I cannot find it. Can you help? :)
 
Character Cache folder is in the TSO Client folder

This update worked for me I am in city view now ... no terrain but its still a beautiful thing !!! :D

This is the sort of information that will make it easier to track down this bug!
 
I haven't been able to login into server on today and on yesterday.

I did download links from Kon Tiki, bugfix(es) but it wont let me login with these files.
