[LEGACY]How to join a server and install FreeSO

Hi. Saw that this project was ready for play testing. So, I jumped at the chance to try out the game. But, I've run into a problem.

The game starts up and I log in with the EA account I made during install. The game then attempts to connect to EA servers and gets stuck at 25% and then eventually tells me it can't connect. How do I get past this step?

You don't log-in, you skip it by telling the installer that you will register later.

You don't use a log-in, we don't have accounts yet and defeniately not the ones created via EA.

Okay... so, do I need to reinstall? When I start the game I get a login screen and if I don't enter anything the only other option is EXIT.
I read the beginning of this thread and it mentions nothing about NOT creating an account. That should probably be added to the instructions.

Probably because it seem really obvious it's not necessary to create a EA's account for a old game close down since 7 years old... have you actually read the tutorial completly anyway ? cause it's already say that after installing the original client you must download the latest FreeSO and extract the extra packing slips to your TSO installation directory.

This the screen I get. Leaving it blank or putting in a login account still has it stall at 25% then I get a "can't connect to servers" message.
I'm using the tsoclient.

That because you have launch the client of original game, I repeat you must to use FreeSO client that you will find it where you installing FreeSO dist.

Sigh, download from here -> http://servo.freeso.org/viewLog.htm...ifacts&buildTypeId=ProjectDollhouse_TsoClient
If you're on Windows 10, drag the contents in any empty folder and launch the FreeSO.exe file. If you're below Windows 10 or that doesn't work, put the contents into the same directory as The Sims Online's TSOClient folder and launch FreeSO.exe that way.
