AIM OF THE IDEA:
We all know what jamming is a very popular activity in-game. Since it involves only just pointing and clicking, wouldn't it be cool if jamming actually gave you something? What could be added to make it more fun?

IDEA ITSELF:
The player should have the choice to decide to keep the jams produced or, as usual, sell them directly. Keeping them would put in their inventory this object:
blender_spr_r0_near_color.png
A basket of jams, 6 jams, as much as you produce in game with the Jam station.
What can i do with those jams? As soon as jamming quality and payout is influenced by the cooking skill, the jams in the basket could vary in quality depending on your cooking skill. With those jams you would be able to make new sweet treats to sell at a higher price and that can be eaten for real. Depending again on your cooking skill, the quality of the food cooked will also vary: if you have the top of cooking skill, the jam dessert will full-fill the hunger need.

We would have to apply a similar thing to all of the other AFK objects, and I don't think they really need additional incentive to be used. We want people to be using group money and job lots, since they are more interesting.

Not sure if you can remove the gnomes from the gnome table, I think you can but this would probably work in a similar fashion. How would we apply this to pinata? Telemarketer? Easel could make sense but we might need more images to put on the easel (that or tie it into CC)

Love it! Ideas for the others, beyond their original function:
Piñata: "Eat candy" — instead of pick up coins? +hunger
Telemarketer: "Socialize" — instead of telemarketing? like, slacking off at work! +social
Easel: "Keep painting" — Maybe with a different starting action, like "Paint" vs "Paint new painting." +inventory
Typewriter: "Write story" — to increase creativity skill instead of making money. +creativity
Jams: "Keep preserves" — to be eaten or given away. +inventory +hunger
Potions: "Drink potion" — could be fun, with a risk at either a) killing your sim, or b) gaining skill in a random skill, only like .05 points maybe. +death +skill
Gnome: "Keep gnome" — obviously. It'd be fun if you could whittle out a flamingo, too! I bet we could create a couple different statue-like objects to create from this and sell/keep. +inventory
Chalkboard: "Doodle" — instead of doing math problems, it would increase creativity. Or maybe some other action to increase logic? +skill

doing jams was popular and there was a lot of success popularizing logic and boards, but it just doesnt work any more...they didnt even pay that much to begin with. jams was the lowest paying single money object, well still is, except it was there to help noobs get started with cooking.
allowing all the single money objects to count towards one another and making them pay the same over time would give people a reason to have money lots again.
expecting people do to more than ONE code per money lot is not realistic for obvious reasons. pizza is different because you use IM. but its sad that people are already
offering payouts for single money objects just to get people to use them.
