Max Skill Speed?

Hello. Months ago, before 3D, or even the advanced shadows and lighting, I remember picking up a guitar and skilling my Creative for maybe a minute. I think I was at max speed. I got 2 skill points.

Now, I am on a skill lot with 20 people. They all are using the piano or guitar. It seems way slower. Was the speed decreased, although keeping the 118% speed mark?

No, but skilling at a higher skill level is a lot slower.
