no cities to select... PLZ HELP!

Because the city server is offline/shutdown.

I take it your new, don't freakout..... just relaunch the game, get back to the login screen and click on "Simantics & Debug Mode", you can have fun testing that sim for now, works almost like it does in the original sims game
