After you completed the first 5 steps, you're already a host the moment you enter your lot. The last two steps are optional. Step 6 is for advanced users and not recommended. Step 7, however, is highly recommended - as long as you don't flood the chat room.

So when I load up the game I can just select a random lot from the right hand side, load in--I become the host there and then post my server info?

okay so i've had a friend try to connect to my server and it won't connect... i cannot portforward with portmapper, so could anyone pleeeeaaase make an evolve tutorial dangit?
Charvatia is a SimAntics version of the client, which you DON'T need. The original exe that comes with FreeSO (FreeSO.exe) works fine in regards to server hosting.
