PDBootstrap.exe crashes and won't update

I haven't started PDBootstrap.exe in a long time.
I noticed there was an update on the forums so I tried to apply it only for the .exe to crash and stop working immediately.
Any suggestions?
 
Yes you should use PDBootstrap to activate the Updater
"C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims Online\TSOClient\PDBootstrap.exe"
 
Okay, so I downloaded the latest version of the PDInstaller which fixed my first problem allowing PDbootstrap.exe to update my game to the latest version, I'm now able to load the game but now I can't sign into my account without the game crashing. PS: I always start my game in administrator.

Yeah me too, I think everyone has the same problem right now... :/ wait until the problem is fixed.
 
Try deleting your character cache in your My Documents folder.
This issue should be solved in the latest version I'm working on, along with a whole host of others.
