PD's default install path

Project Dollhouse has been installed into The Sims Online's directory since the get-go but it makes no sense since the PD detects TSO regardless of the directory it's in. I know for a fact because I've been debugging my fork along side PD's while playing with Rhys' latest release all without conflict. So, my question is, do we really need to keep the default installation path in Maxis' directory any longer?

Just bringing this up as a discussion. :p

Doesn't load resources for me, just gives me gray where there should be sprites/textures etc.

It should work out of the main folder, as long as it can find the game. I'll be cleaning this up when the game is more ready for an "official" beta test. Works fine here on Windows 8.1 x64.
