Planned release?

So does anyone have any idea how long it will take before the game will technically be more or less playable? Building lots, meeting other sims, all the core game functionality, really.

I know no one REALLY knows and there's no planned date anywhere, but I want to hear what everyone thinks.

My guess is a long time. (Another 2 - 4 Years)

What I'd honestly like to see is PD finally going online, completed and ironed out, right around the time that EA finally comes out of their shell about a Sims online game. It would be their Sims 5 (or whatever they try to push next) vs a remake with the graphics of a game from the year 2000. TSO has helped show the online gaming community that online games' ratings are mostly (if not entirely) reliant on the community. Graphics are not an issue if the people you're playing with make you feel as if you're there in person with them.

To answer your question, I hope to see this game come to the light of day (A true released Beta) before the end of 2015. Not sure how long I truly have on Earth to wait, but I will give PD every day I live at least a glancing look for any and all updates.
