Alright, so I've tried just emailing you guys this question, but my provider keeps saying your email is full, so here it goes.

I was looking stuff up about TSO and I saw your project; and I love the Sims; played the original and expansions for years. TSO was shut down way before I even knew it existed, and I never managed to get a hold of a copy of it before it did. I saw your project and tried downloading the most recent version to see if it would work, but it says it can't find TSO anywhere on my computer. I don't have the original disc, I can't seem to download the ISO files or anything anywhere online, and the only places I see where they sell it are on Amazon and eBay and I don't want to actually pay for those unless I'm 100% sure that it will work.

So do you know where I could get the install files for TSO anywhere? Could you even guarantee that it would work if I did get a hold of them/buy them? I've never played TSO before and I'm kind of curious to see what it's like seeing how much of a fan I was of the original game.

Naw, not a stupid question :) tbh, someone needs to sticky a newbie FAQ like where to get the files, how to install etc. would save a lot of hassle
 
Can i use the original discs since i have them? This download is going to take a week at this rate...
 
The original disks use an older version of the game, so they won't be compatible with our servers or anyone else's client. They will run in single player.
 
Ok, thank you for replying so fast, wow. Well, after all this time, I guess a little longer won't hurt. I know it will be worth it in the end. I'm just happy we even get this opportunity again. Thought it was worth a shot asking tho. Im glad i asked instead of just assuming it was okay and doing it.
