Hello,

I asked if it would be possible to make a server and / or patch language of the game if possible.

I have a level of English asser low and to translate these actions a bit complicate for players who are not very good in English ...

Hopefully this will be taken into account.

To my knowledge there is no updated french translation. We rely on our users to translate the game.

It is possible to translate the game. You have to translate a few files:
  • In the TSO gamedata directory: /The Sims Online/TSOClient/gamedata/uitext/english.dir. Copy the folder, rename it to french.dir. Open the files with a text editor and you can start translating those.
  • In the FreeSO content directory: /FreeSO/Content/UI/uitext/english.dir. Same thing with the files in here.
When you are finished, post your translation here on the forums (Contribute section) so people can use it and can include it in their applications (in the launcher as a language option, for example).
French translation may already be started. If you lurk the forums enough, you might find the old files.

You need to change the language in your configuration file in /Installation Path/FreeSO/Content/config.ini:
