PSA: Stop making new threads / a dozen posts when you have a problem

Alright. I'm getting sick of being alerted to a bunch of the same post in different threads - there are clearly some people that don't know how to use or are new to the concept of forums. Let me just get three things straight:
  • Check the section you're posting in before you post, and make sure that your post is at least vaguely close to the section - for instance, don't post your questions in the Volcanic Support section.
  • Search before you post. Chances are your questions are already answered, and all it takes is one search to find them.
  • Don't post 60 times before you get an answer. Nobody here is available 24/7, not even me (and I'm pretty regular).
Please, stop making dozens of posts when you have a problem - either privately message someone or post in the Support section AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR A RESPONSE!
This forum is not a chat room. If you want a chat room, join the Discord group, and have fun there (you'll likely get a faster response anyway!)
If you don't follow these three simple steps, you're going to get a lot of "[ INTERNAL SCREAMING ]" directed towards you, trust me. You might even get banned. It's not nice - I know how it feels ;)
Also, if you don't have enough patience to wait a few hours (or even minutes!) to wait for a response to your question, then you won't like TSO anyway so go find another game - TSO is pretty patience-based ;)
Two people have done this already (you know who they are) and people got quite annoyed.

tl;dr use the search bar, check the section you're posting in and ONLY POST ONCE OR YOU RISK BEING BANNED.

I hate such things too but there are A LOT of people doing stupid, irritating (at least to inteligent people like me) and you can tell them to stop but they will still doing that anyway.

I second this and thanks for having "make" my job during my absence but
check the section you're posting in and ONLY POST ONCE OR YOU RISK BEING BANNED.
Banned??? you go a bit too far, plus I can't let you say this to other users especially because you don't have the ability and the authorization to take this type of decision(also you're not really nice placed) and btw given a warning can be sufficient...

Can't find the quote, but Rhys did mention a user being banned for this.

LRB, I agree fullly with this thread but you're suggesting is rather extreme and edging on a threat. Three warnings is the standard, and then a ban. Extreme cases includes pissing off a moderator.

That's because that person posted in every forum and thread on earth, regardless of the topic. It wasn't just twice.
