The object scripts would have to be examined by a simantics programmer... This is part of the reason custom objects in TSO were limited to chair reskins etc.

True, but since we'll be able to host our own servers with a rewritten client and server, it seems like there should be limited options for users and full catalogue push from the server admin.

I realized that in EA-Land,They merged all the maps together. And instead of letting your sims be at a single location,they can be at all.

Exactly! That was at least the best feature in EA-Land. I mean i never played TSO/EA-Land so now is my only shot. And honestly,Maybe adding that feature to TSO here... Might not be a bad idea at all? Like my post talking about the feature above and see as many likes as possible for the map in one. Because i would love playing with my sims and not have to switch between locations and all.
