Sims 1

Its under construction, need a lot of content to be added, also you can stop music, just see for the button below in page.

Tha is decorative only objects, the content that ill add will be some hacked objects like electronics and miscellaneus... Also you can check for houses if you like it, and tutorial will be included but right now im little bussy...
 
I absolutely love, and always will love, The Sims 1. I had a complete collection disk set that stopped working (due to the numerous scratches from my carelessness :p) But I ordered a new disk set today so I hope I can work some magic and get it working on my windows 8 PC XP
 
What i have found is that SimsEdit waas made with visual basic v.5.0, ill try to convert to more recent net language and try to implement it with vs 2010...

I'm surprised the website, let alone the tools, still exists. Though, not sure how I feel paying to use a tool for a two decade old, and officially unsupported game.
 
I haven't yet, but it looks incredibly interesting... It would be cool to have imaginative custom objects in TSO as well (obviously not slice city since that would make no sense in the context of tso, but other things) to keep things fresh.
 
Oh done that many times haha! I have a sim that is living in a huge mansion :) She is a 5 Star celebrity and she is married and has two dogs so she is "Livin Large" :D

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help my with my Sims 1 game

It's an odd issue. I managed to install TS1 on my windows 8 laptop, and whenever i open it in windowed mode, there is a huge black box around the area the game starts up. I can drag the game over and the black box doesn't move.

It's really annoying because I can't get rid of the black box (it's on my metro thing and everything!) so literally the only way i can play is by shoving it towards the left or right of my screen and playing with half the game out of view. The black box disappears when I exit the game.

Anyone got any idea why this happens? (It doesn't happen when I don't play in windowed, but I'd prefer to play in windowed because it lags less and it fits the screen more neatly.)
