Sims 2 CAS

Fun fact: The Sims 2 uses exactly the same UI system as the TSO setup utility.

It is, TS2 uses a modified SimAntics (changed primitives to reflect new 3d objects, etc) to drive the objects too. You can check it out with SimPE.

Well, that does kinda explain this.

Aidan: I have TS2 deluxe it DOESNT LOOK LIKE THAT PILE OF **** NO WONDER TS1 IS POPULAR THE UI IS NICER

My best suggestion is looking for the ones involving bugs and dating back to early-to-mid 2004 screenshots. Gamespot, and alike, have a tone of old screenshots.

You're welcome!
The original version was almost fully lost in a server room fire at maxis studios. That game was redeveloped by scratch and any content you dont see in this video was what was lost.
This explains the "crunch time" they had near the end of the development.

Sims 3 is so not realistic. Like all the lazy studio workers decided to skip the 'basic' entering car animation. Even SIMS 2 has the entering car animation.!l
Well, since parking spaces is no longer restricted to the side walk, I can understand not having the animations. My problem is that the cars barely differentiate themselves. You could have the cheapest car in the game and it would still go the same speed as it's expensive counterpart. Kinda ruined the appeal of even having them. At least horses had some value the higher skill you had.

I assume bodyshop was something they made from the start to create premade characters which it explains its relativity to ts1 ui as it was built early.
And bodyshop probs survived the fire or was stored somewhere else (yes it's true).
