Fun fact: The Sims 2 uses exactly the same UI system as the TSO setup utility.
FYI, that was during the beta, as shown during E3 2003. You shoulda seen how The Sims 1 looked during it's development.I have TS2 deluxe it DOESNT LOOK LIKE THAT PILE OF ****
But you just said you had TS2 deluxe.NO WONDER TS1 IS POPULAR THE UI IS NICER
This explains the "crunch time" they had near the end of the development. The original version was almost fully lost in a server room fire at maxis studios. That game was redeveloped by scratch and any content you dont see in this video was what was lost.
Well, since parking spaces is no longer restricted to the side walk, I can understand not having the animations. My problem is that the cars barely differentiate themselves. You could have the cheapest car in the game and it would still go the same speed as it's expensive counterpart. Kinda ruined the appeal of even having them. At least horses had some value the higher skill you had.Sims 3 is so not realistic. Like all the lazy studio workers decided to skip the 'basic' entering car animation. Even SIMS 2 has the entering car animation.!l
