Some Issues

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I've been having trouble with Project Dollhouse. I'm a bit of a noob with these things, but I was able to install TSO, then activate the PDInstaller and patch the game. Now every time I try to run the client, TSOClient crashes. I tried running it on compatibility mode for XP (Service Pack 2 AND 3) but nothing seems to work. I could really use some help!
 
I don't need to do any of those steps as for some reason they're already done for me (guess the installer does it automatically), but the game does not even start for me to be able to delete the character cache because it crashes the second I start the ProjectDollhouseClient.exe
 
Also, the second the patch is done, I can no longer click on the bootstrapper or the patcher itself as it says that it cannot find any maxis products and that it is unable to update due to a manifest error (after updating it once, I guess it can't do it again, or some such)
 
Are you on Windows 8?
I'm still sort of moving in, but I will get back into development within the next week.
Still working on encryption though.
 
I can't patch my game either cause it telling me about that maxis products were not found on your system but Project Doll house client and TSOClient.exe works with no that error message. My game installed on (D:) Drive cause I has windows 7 system installed on small SSD drive = my (C:) Drive. My project doll house version is 0.1.18.0.

System: windows 7 Home Premium

Service Pack 1
 
Done with the authentication and login server, still working on city server.
