Do you think that speed 2 and 3 (if that's even possible) should be enabled when there is no visitors and roomates on your lot? It could work like only when there's nobody on your lot apart from you, and you can toggle those speed modes during that occurence. If a visitor or roomates comes to your lot, you should then be put back to speed 1 and the others should be disable until you become alone again.
