The city server does seem to be down at the moment. Keep in mind that I haven't committed the messaging UI system, so Afr0 doesn't know how he's supposed to interface with it yet.
Yep, I had to restart the city server. Not sure why? It hadn't crashed. Anyway, seems to be working fine now.
I can see it now! First thing my sim Lexi will do? Move in to a new house! (i'm awful at furnishing. HELL I CAN'T EVEN BUILD A HOUSE! Can i get a pre-built household for me?!?! e.e)I can login now!, lots of flashing houses. Can't wait until we can build/move in!

And then go clothes shopping!! and go out to the city!!
Hey whats up. New to the forums but I have been following this project for awhile. First off, let me say great job and thank you for bringing this game back to its former glory ( even though its not there yet). I'm excited to see that the city server is up and running (When the lots become purchasable, I'm calling dibs on one of the few snow lots XD). Anyways I noticed a few people had problems with the latest release and I wanted to share what fixed mine. My updater kept crashing similar to a lot of people on this forum. What fixed it for me was to install project dollhouse in program files(x86) instead of the regular program files, which seems to be the default path for this installer. I'm not sure if this fix has already been posted or is even relevant but this cleared up all of the crashes/problems that I was facing.
Guys, I ran bootstrapper and it keeps freezing on this file and the client won't open :/View attachment 37
