I had that problem too, I just deleted the CharacterCache folder and now its working again.

That's fine. If you mimimize and restore the client the old city renderer should display.

deleted CharacterCache, I was the same problem and after having removed he worked correctly.

i downloaded version 0.5.1 and i right click bootstrap and run as admin and it loads the game and then i press create a sim and it tells me to choose a city but there isn't any city so i can't make any sims, have i done something wrong or am i missing something?
 
My version is now 0.1.9.0. When I first logged in everything was fine. then I logged in again and the patcher updated. Now I get - your client was not up to date.

EDIT:
ok it's working now ... all I did was launch from the bootstrap in the file and it worked ... I went back to the bootstrap shortcut and it worked . No idea what that was all about ... version is still 0.1.9.0.

Tells same to me now maybe afr0 updated something because it worked before and I reopened game many times and relogged to test the client.

Yeah i repatched game and now it works again. :)
 
i've noticed that when you're in create a sim their hands are missing, is this happenign with anyone else or just me? also how do you know what version you are running?

All the sims are without hands for now and to see what version of it is, look at the bottom right of the client page.
 
Ah, good to see you guys are making it work. :)
Version 0.1.9.0 adds a patch for registry for x64 systems, and relies on the registry to find out where to create folders.
