Where do I start?

I am sorry for making it look like I am showing up to the party late. But for the last year, ever since what happened to Ghost and EA, I have been watching what I thought was the official Project Dollhouse website when in reality it was just a fan site. I had started to wonder when the last update was months prior to me finding this forum site.
You have my undying support on this project as I would give my life to defend it for it to go public. I have also promised to procure four extra copies of the finished game for my family and friends. Half of them partook in the joys of TSO, and bringing it back would be the best thing to happen to online gaming since Burning Crusades (The other adds were just Blizzard milking the game).
My question, and reason for this thread:
Where do I start? How do I download the client for this game. I understand that it is in what could be called Pre-Alpha Timeline (Thanks Homestuck), but I'd very much like to follow the updates as religiously as I do Walking Dead or Downton Abbey.
Please help a fellow cultist,
Thanks.

Welcome to the Project Dollhouse forums!

First of all, you'll want to download the original TSO, so that the PD client can use its resources. You can find that here: http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/misc/tso/

Next, you will need to download and install OpenAL for windows: http://www.openal.org/creative-installers/oalinst.zip (not included in installer as this is a new engine dependancy)

If you want to test the latest production release (ie. the one that connects to the servers) download the client installer from here: https://github.com/Afr0/Project-Dollhouse/releases/tag/0.2
Run the bootstrap program, and it should update to the latest version. probably. After updating you might need to delete TSO.World.dll to get the game (Simantics & Lot Debug) to start.

For the very latest developments on the simulation front, I post breakthroughs and occasionally builds with WIP features here, for example here's a build that includes a work in progress buy mode, so you can mess around with all of the buyable objects in the game:

Everything is a little rough right now, especially the installation process, since things are still quite early on and we haven't had time to streamline it.

My undying gratitude. I shall hold this forum very close to my heart, where I shall check it frequently. I know this is the most prying question of the year, but has the fog cleared enough to give the team any inclination as to a date we should look forward to?

Andrew Hussie, author of the largest online comic, known as Homestuck, often gives his followers dates to jot down and think about; even though he almost never made the actual date, and pushed it off for a later one. We Homestucks all knew the dates would change, but it still gave us hope to hear just how long to hold on for.

My apologies for rambling...

jk, i don't know. Maybe some time this year, but I'm the only person working on simulation right now, so it all comes down to how free I am.

When I try to log in. I can pick my sim then when trying to enter city. It will only load 50%. Bottom line says mapping information superhighway. Although I can click on simantics & lot debug and go right into a lot. But it want let me buy anything

Help me please !!! T.T
I need the serial registration to complete the installation but I do not have it and not found on the internet.

Just wait for the game to finish downloading (there's a percentage bar down at the bottom left) and then close the installer. The CD key part is not necessary. After this, it should be installed, and the PD client should pick it up. It's still worth noting that things are pretty early days and there's no multiplayer gameplay yet - just an offline simantics sandbox.
