Why are people so harsh in this game?

You know what I’ve noticed since I started playing. Which don’t get me wrong I love it the game but what I’ve noticed is that people can be downright cruel. Or if you’re not a politically correct snowflake like most they take issue with it.
Or if you don’t like them and they don’t like you instead of using the ignore button which is there for a reason obviously they just kick you out and spread shit to others about you behind your back to get you kicked out of other places.
Also how everyone cliques up. I know I come from Second Life which is the hugest community and it’s easier to ignore that stuff. But why can’t all this bullying and cliquishness stop? Why can’t people learn to use the ignore button? It’s really not fair and when stuff like this happens it takes the fun out of the game for all
isn’t there anything we can do to make this stop? I know for a fact I’m not the only who’s experienced this type of toxicity. Other people have been driven away from it.
anyway I just wanted to express that because I really wish there was a way to make it stop.

Hmm... I have not noticed this at all. So far everyone I have been interacting with has been very polite. I think a lot of the players I am coming across are from the UK and the EU. Perhaps you caught some folks that were very stressed out toward the end of a very crappy 2020 year?

I think there's an interesting contradiction in calling people a "politically correct snowflake", then making a complaint post like this on a public forum. There's not much value in this discussion as it pretty much boils down to "people don't like me for who i am", which is, uh... reality. Closing.
