Another bug....my account is Clonest(like my name) but I can't login to city view without creating a new sim....I already have 1 sim created that looks fine in the 2nd slot but can no longer login to the city view with him. On the 1st slot I have a messed up sim with question marks all over the...

I re-installed the game completely, then installed the new pdinstaller, and now has soon I launch it from the pdbootstrapper it goes to the updater. But it's stuck downloading from the dropbox site but isn't making any progress >.<

I can't get mine to finish updating, server offline I guess? :(

ever try putting the setup files and package them into a ".iso" file then mounting it as a virtual disk?, or u know, maybe actually burn them to a disk? that may help! :)

lol....actually there was that tv show by Josh Whedon called "Dollhouse" where they had the ability to store peoples personalities and memories on hardrives and imprint them on people while their brains were in a "idle sleep mode" in a chair. They could send them on secrets missions and stuff...

Maybe because this game ISN'T your tradition MMORPG??? Now I can't speak for the developers here but if I understand correctly this game has quite a few other elements that need emulated for the game to function correctly. There's no direct client-to-server operations to be emulated here like...

Indeed!, not to mention the ones Maxis never finished that remains only working in Sims 1 like the Shovel tool, and well...Bills? who wants to pay Bill's though? lol

as always, work's for some, crash's for others....I don't suppose you happen to be running it on 64-bit windows do you?

I take it your new, don't freakout..... just relaunch the game, get back to the login screen and click on "Simantics & Debug Mode", you can have fun testing that sim for now, works almost like it does in the original sims game :D

Ohhhhh lawd, well whatever makes the game more entertaining :D

If you don't like how slow it's going take a computer programming class and help crack this stuff yourself :p

Worked for me, I logged in and was able to get to the City View with my Sim, nothing changed there. :D

Last I remember you just login with the username and password you want and if it's not taken it creates that account and logs you right in. Doesn't work right now of course since like you stated, the server's down. Try the "Simantecs & Lot Debug" button instead at the upper left side of the...
