I meant something as a way to communicate in case for example, server falls apart. :D

Afr0, just take a break for some time if you need to, but seriously, just don't quit a project right now. I know how it feels, trust me. But your contribution ain't meaningless, everyone is making (programming) mistakes, delays happen and sometimes you have to work on important backend stuff...

100% pure awesomeness. It's great to see both clients being in sync for first few minutes. Especially at this early stage of development. Rhys, how do you (plan to) deal with a situation when the simulation gets out of sync, for example lag?

Rhys, I set up environment for testing PD on my laptop just so I could take a look at that touch support thing and... Google says that this part of XNA works well only with Windows Phone because they messed everything when implementing touch support in XNA 4. Google also says that it's better...

Since at this point you could load every lot in offline mode on city view screen after logging in, I suppose being able to enter the lot as a Sim you created would be a nice touch and something not that hard to implement I suppose (just make sure you have all the data about character in that lot...

If it's supposed to work like this: dragging at the edge scrolls the screen until you tap somewhere else or drag away from the edge - then it's working. But I guess it was exactly like this before. Buttons still don't respond correctly.

Yup, it was behaving in exactly the same way. Some apps on Windows behave in this weird way, kind of a "fallback retarded touch screen support" thing. One tap - hovering, double tap - pressing. (though buttons like "Simantics..." and Debug" won't respond even when double-tapping). It's worth...

#39 from master branch, right? Nothing changed, to be honest. Tapping on the screen results in moving a virtual, non-existent cursor and hovering random stuff. How about you, Zack?

I wouldn't say that. I have a device with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 and it takes at least a minute or two to unlock my KeePass database, while it happens INSTANTLY on my slicing board. You can't really compare this two CPU architectures by "amount of cores + ghz" stuff. For example, quad core...

Even though these quad-core processors are ARM based and probably not much faster than this Atom thing. :D Rhys: I surely could do some testing on my device if you're interested.

I know it's a bit off-topic, but I just made a second attempt of running PD on a tablet. This time I attached my trusty old USB keyboard and mouse combo to the device and... well... I was really wrong about that RAM thing. Sure, game eats like 300MB of RAM even on login screen, but it works...

Actually, it didn't froze, all the UI controls are still working, but lot refuses to load. It's not like I expected it to work/be playbale on 8 inch tablet anyway, all these buttons seem really small.

Just tried latest build of PD on my Windows tablet (Atom Z3735E, 1GB RAM, HD Graphics) and that mysterious error happens just after pressing "Simantics & Lot Debug" button (and it won't load, probably because it runs out of RAM or something). Too bad, I was curious if it would be even close to...

    1. It's easier to focus on the content when the area is not that wide. Ever read a book? Why books ain't in landscape mode? :D 2. If you have such big screen (or three screens, whatever), why do you fill the whole space with a browser, instead of, for example - multitasking? You'd rather have...

Happens to me once in a while when browsing the catalog (i7 3632qm, 8GB RAM, gt635m). Found a glitch! Is it supposed to behave like this? This way you can't duplicate the walls from lower level unless you start breaking physics/placing a floor over there.
