Clearly not, and you still have not answered the question (and don't seem to want to). I'm not sure why you're reacting like this, given that all I've done is tell you how neighbourhoods will work. Closing.
I've added new instructions that use Homebrew and our new TSO download source to the main post. These were written by @dotequals, so give him your thanks if they are helpful.
I don't think your GPU has a high enough feature level to run the game. The most common limiting factor is support for DDY and DDX support in pixel shaders, and rendering with multiple render targets (which 1st gen Intel HD, older Intel GMAs don't support).
We couldn't have any of the systems we have planned if neighbourhoods only contained a few property locations. They're sort of like informal towns, and shouldn't be attached to any existing property (since there may be another property there after wipe)
(Thank you @BrandonSJ96 for the example model!)
If you're using 3D mode, there are probably two things that annoy you the most. The first is the trees, because oh my god, and the second is countertop sinks being crazy flat and an unreadable mess in general. Before now, you couldn't even dream of...
Neighbourhoods are coming to FreeSO, but with an entirely new system that adds new ways for sims to interact with each other, and build more complex communities. For more info, check out the latest post on the blog! We're still developing the feature, but there are a lot of neighbourhoods to...
It should be, but I think some CC is currently crashing the game. If you try it on FreeSO (and use the correct file formats), only you will see the difference.
This is planned to come for group money objects as well - the reason they became unavailable is because group skill should have parity with group money and we need a system to limit the functionality of both based on category. This should come in a later update.
It is indeed to do with the network firewall. Your employer is likely blocking non-standard traffic, so only allowing HTTP, mail etc. Since FreeSO uses a custom protocol built on TCP, it won't get through this firewall. Most enterprise connections do this - the only way around it is a VPN (if...
Welcome lots only give money and skills to players with accounts less than a week old (it is also boosted 2x). After that point, you should go to a skill or money lot.
This will be made clearer in a future update.
The next update should add these characters to the sprite font (maybe some cyrillic alphabets, but chinese and japanese characters will likely need to be relegated to an extension spritefont or for our new renderer). In future we will be using a font renderer which dynamically renders characters...
Nope, since the game is networked an undo feature is a lot more technically challenging to make secure (since multiple users can interchange actions), so it is not implemented at all.
It's a bug with minimum lighting. It uses a rather complex shader that does some bit operations on a roommap - here it seems to be taking data for the wrong floor entirely. It will likely be replaced with a lightweight version of FSO lighting soon.
Right now a ton of things can crash the game during start up, and the game doesn't really report on them at all. One of them is clothing CC, another is the UK version of the game (will be fixed), and the last is missing objects (this just needs to show an error instead of crash). The next...
