Looks like the Terminal can't find cabextract in your path. If you know you installed it for sure using Homebrew. Close the Terminal window and open a new one, run cd ~/Downloads/TSO_Installer_v1.1239.1.0 and then the cabextract command again.

This is a currently known bug introduced with the reconnection system and will happen every time you make a new character. Just close FreeSO and log back in and you should be able to join the city with your new sim.

I can't recall the exact restrictions, but an Intel HD Graphics 3000 or later will definitely work. A discreet GPU like from AMD or Nvidia can be older and usually supports what's needed. Intel's early attempts at integrated graphics were rough.

This is generally related to your GPU not supporting the necessary shader, but it can sometimes trigger when it can't get control of the GPU (may just need to reboot your computer). Do you play FreeSO and does it work? And if not do you know what GPU you have?
