Working on lighting right now, right now everything is reading from room 0 (outside) and the lighting colour is a bit extreme (and sunrise/set last too long). I'm using a 256x256 texture for the room ambient light colours, which should be filled with colours computed from the room lighting contribution.
Day and Night cycle is already nearing completion? Wow that was fast and It looks great!
Now it's possible to know when it's night and everything! Lights should follow you into rooms you enter, but the TSO update value for this has been tweaked to be surprisingly infrequently. Will upload changes after some cleanups and implementation for the sim.
That was I was going to ask about! Are the Lighting options going to be active at anytime in development @RHY3756547 ?Oh good lord the progress is amazing. I like how this has MORE features than the TSO had (advanced lighting systems, more than 2 stories etc.) Very cool Rhys, I can't wait to get playing this. I hope you can do even MORE fun stuff.

There's apiece about the "Coming Soon" buttons in the Property Mode. So I think the lighting system in TSO was in some ways implement but unfinished.
I've also experienced this type of glitch. For me it happened on food items, like meals from the buffet table. Though it fixed itself pretty quickly.
Is it a known bug?
I suppose it could be something on my end, since I already got some random glitches like transparency not working properly in UI etc.
