Nope, that's pretty much perfect. I don't think we require any Re-distributables anymore.

Good work for your progress Rhys, i want to check for something, if you already know that:

-When selecting wall tool, it draws even when i do click in different window, not game itself.
-When crossing walls the object wall cursor wil not allow you to go trough walls, when using diagonals
-Using the wall down view, changes wall lookout to only top down edges, that should not happen.

First one happens with all the tools. Can be fixed by changing how UI mouse handling works.
Second one is how the real game functions, you can't make any acute angles with walls in TS1.
Not sure what you mean by the third one?

I'm back, did u miss me? :p Anyways, I've quickly caught myself up on what happened while I was gone and this is really amazing! Build mode looks like its going great and the terrain tool is superb, lol.

I think he's talking about how when you're drawing walls with the cutaway view, the 'ghost walls' end up being cutaway as well, even though in the sims it should draw them like in this picture

Hmm running into a little trouble following the instructions. Attached a screenshot, says a path is missing. Same error for both methods. When I look in the directory there is no uigraphics.xml.

Okay, looks like I forgot that we use some extra tools to generate packing slips for ui graphics. Here are all of the packing slips used by PD (extract to TSOClient):

I'm not familiar with the process of building these... I believe they're built with a tool called "Mr. Shipper", and they're usually distributed using the release updater.

If you're looking for them again, I made a new playlist that includes the waiter job too.

I'm talking about the videos of old PD, not TSO.

I know it's not new at all but...

CRAZY CAT BOB

You can't have more than 10 pets though. At least it's working. It's funny how they either stay in one place and keep meowing or just wander from one point to another for no reason.

For the cats to work I'll need to implement Find Best Action. They also occasionally run from spot to spot.

I made this wee house (with no bedroom) to test interactions until it hilariously crashed because I cancelled an interaction. Looks like I found a bug with the Remove Object Instance primitive...

So yeah, next up is Painting the walls and the floors. I'm going to start with floors, but the main problem here is finding where the catalog strings are for these things...

Looks like all the catalog strings and prices for the collections (walls.iff, floors.iff) are in build.iff. All the individual expansion walls in the .far have their own strings bundled with the wall graphics. Special thanks to @Fatbag for making this easy. ;)

Wall filling works on everything except diagonal walls, some interesting patterns in here.

Some of the patterns are appearing as blank for whatever reason. They're either not being loaded correctly or have no graphics and shouldn't be placed.

You work really fast Rhys, i think youre also thinking about that doing all this will allow for fastest custom content implementation startups, hope it can go like this goes..

Yes that what i mean, also that walls never hide when using the wall cursor..

Great progress, the image speed is increased, or thats original game speed??
PD: You should also for the custom content, that now is possible to use at catalog, some Ea land can have missing bmp. But all this is possible thanks to Rhys..
