With PDHTSO, Will there be new features in and after it's release?

When Project Dollhouse gets released, Will there be new content added with new interactions or is this just about building the game up to how it was and keeping it like that, I would love to see this game expanded so much more seems it was still in BETA when it shut down (Because that totally works...O_O).

We'll build the game up how it was, and then custom content can be put in lots, custom clothing will probably be added, and there will be a wide variety of servers, cities, etc. if the game gets big.
 
The game is admittedly pretty bare, so we'll be enabling custom content (including full custom objects, but they have to be verified by one of our simantics programmers) as soon as we have a system that is ready. The main focus is base gameplay, then Job Lots, then custom content.

Btw Rhys, just for curiosity, do you know how to create custom objects?? you have made it for sims 1???
 
We should really create some sort of API or program that can create custom content and custom objects, unless Francot has a better method.

Not have a better method, but is more easy to use TSO Pre Alpha edith tool, to create the custom content sims antics, that creating a new program capable of do that...

Not many people (including me) have Edith / EA-Land's Edith / the Pre-Alpha Edith. There are multiple ways of creating custom objects but none dedicated to TSO.

There use to be during the brief time TSO became EA-Land but most, if not all, the links are dead now.
Not many people (including me) have Edith / EA-Land's Edith / the Pre-Alpha Edith.
I'm just gonna say it right now: what's the point of holding back Edith at this point? Just look at what we're doing.
 
EA-Land edith is the only form partially safe for distribution, because the files were leaked to everyone with the game anyways. All other releases probably break employee contracts.

I'm going to develop a program that will allow you to create your own objects; it can't be difficult since it has been done before for the original Sims game (see Transmogrifier). With modern tools it shouldn't be difficult and since almost everything is documented and code has been written to read(/write?) the formats required, it should be a simple task. I'm going to call it the "Custom Content Studio" or C2S, and it'll be developed in C#. If you have any ideas for the program don't hesitate to reply.

Uh, yeah? The files are there, I think.

Good luck with that, is not big difficult, but will be also not easy, just think how many time they took to create the code for simslib, that basically only read all the data in binary streams, also you should know that file formats for creating behaviors will requiere some extra coding for sims antics functions...

There are multiple places to get SimAntics, IFF, etc. information from: There's the Niotso wiki, the SimAntics wiki (both of which are very useful), the SimsWiki, and probably other places I haven't heard of yet.
 
There are some copyright issues there. I think we should stick to custom content.

Based on that, content that has been done by other users only (not Maix) is allowed?? I was planning add some ea land miss stuff and other...
 
We can't redistribute any EA/Maxis properties. This is why people download the original game from the official site.
What EA land objects were you planning to bring over?
